Guaranteed Resources

Every VPS is based on Ensim technology which means they have dedicated system files and guaranteed system resources (CPU, memory, disk space) allowing you to fully utilize your server at all times.

Processor

The CPU Processor or the Central Processing unit is the brain of the computer and the single most important chip in the computer. The computer CPU is responsible for handling all instructions and calculation it receives from other hardware components in the computer and software programs running on the computer. The CPU performs the system's calculating and processing and determines how much load a server can handle. This is the guaranteed CPU allotment that you receive with the plan. This is a burstable number so often you will be able to use more than your allotment at no charge.

RAM

Short for Random Access Memory, RAM also known as main memory or system memory is a term commonly used to describe the memory within a computer. Before a program can be ran the program is loaded into the memory which allows the CPU direct access to the program. Memory is a necessity for any computer and the more you have, the faster the server will process information. This is the guaranteed RAM allotment that you receive with the plan. This is a burstable number so often you will be able to use more than your allotment at no charge.

RAID 5 Hard Drives

RAID 5 functionality distributes data blocks across disks in an array. Redundant parity information is distributed across the disks, so each array member contains the information that is used to regenerate data if a disk fails. RAID 5 allows independent access to data and can handle simultaneous I/O operations. RAID 5 provides data availability and improves performance for large file I/O operations, multiple small data transfers, and I/O read operations.

Fast Data Transfer per month

Data Transfer, also referred to as Traffic, is the outbound information downloaded from your website. The larger you website, and the more media and images you have stored will increase the amount of data transfer you use. An increased Data Transfer allotment is available through our Sales Department, or simply choose a plan which meets your requirements.

Operating System

An Operating System or OS is a software program that enables the computer hardware to communicate and operate with the computer software. Without a computer Operating System a computer and software programs would be useless. Microsoft's Windows and Red Hat's Linux are two examples of Operating Systems.

Control Panel

Ensim Pro 4.0 Control Panel provides a simple user interface for maintaining and monitoring your Web site. Features of the Control Panel vary among providers, but most include site administration, design, statistical reporting, and account maintenance tools. All users have access to Ensim Pro 4.0 which allows you to make all the necessary changes to your VPS Server.

Ensim Domain Licenses

Ensim Pro 4.0 includes a 20 domain license which allows you to create a separete login for each domain. Additional licenses can be purchased which will allow more websites to be hosted from your server.

Unique IP Addresses

A unique IP address is not shared by other domain names; it is unique to your domain name and your space on the server. If you want to have an SSL certificate or use anonymous ftp, you'll need to choose an account with your own unique IP.

Root Access

Also known as an admin, administrator, and gatekeeper, root is a super user on a computer that is able to make any changes. Generally a root is used to refer to the system administrator on a UNIX / Linux server and is an individual who has complete access to a customize the vps for their specific needs.
